SPSA Student Handbook

Scanner

The SPSA knows how important it is to manage your time while in school and to make sure you have all your assignment dates, exam dates, and perhaps even personal dates written down so you don’t forget.  That is why the SPSA provides all registered students with a free student handbook.

The handbook will be distributed through orientations during your initial week of classes.

Inside the handbook you will find information on the SPSA Council Members, services offered to students, a daily calendar, information on facilities available to students, and a number of coupons and discount information to businesses in and around the campuses.

The Scanner

The ‘Scanner’ is the Students’ Association’s monthly newspaper publication.  The ‘Scanner’ contains articles written by the Executive members and students alike.  We are always looking for articles from the student body and encourage you to submit your articles whenever you have an issue that you feel needs to be brought to the public eye.

There are intramural reports done in each ‘Scanner’ issue, with standings and event winners posted.  Upcoming events are also published in the newspaper.

Local businesses also publish ads for upcoming events or savings and deals available in their business.
